When is it?

Every Friday morning in term-time, from 9.45-11.15 at our church building in the centre of Hinckley (Wesley House, 61 Stockwell Head)

Who are we?

Tiddlywinks is a local parent and toddler club run by members of Trinity Community Church Hinckley.

What happens at Tiddlywinks?

At Tiddlywinks the children have fun playing with a variety of toys, crafts and singing, whilst the adults can enjoy a cuppa, some cake and a good chat with other mums, dads and carers.

We have a bright airy room, where the children can play with a variety of toys. There
is a weekly craft activity, and we finish with a singing session with a group game (e.g. parachute). We have a safe baby area for young babies – a good place to meet other new parents. And older pre-schoolers can let off steam in the ride-on section, or rest in the castle den. In the meantime, adults can enjoy a cuppa, some cake, and a good chat with other mums, dads and carers. We are a warm friendly group, where there’s always someone on hand to listen and support

Who can come?

Babies and children up to the age of four

Is there a charge?

Yes, but it’s very minimal. Just £1.50 per child for each session.

How do I register?

Tiddlywinks events

Food for Thought

This is an event specifically for the mum of Tiddlywinks. The women get together to enjoy a meal at Petite Chouette, and enjoy listening to and discussing topics of everyday life from a biblical perspective. Talks are delivered by the women of Trinity Community Church.

  • A meet up for mums in the evening where we enjoy good food, followed by a short talk and discussion about topical issues from a biblical perspective
  • Evening Socials: These have included meals out in Hinckley town, and skittles evenings at a village pub.

Who let the dad's out?

  •   A group held on Saturday mornings (about once every 2 months) for dads, male carers and father figures to bring pre-schoolers and their older primary school siblings.  (And the mums often get together in town for a child-free brunch!)

Football Fridays

Every other Friday night, the men from TCC arrange a 6-7 aside football game at Hinckley Academy (or Hinckley Leisure Centre) from 8-9 pm followed by a pint at the Railway pub.
